there wasn't really anything of any significance that happened though, other than that it was officially clarified that my new task at the library is simply back-up supplies, and i'm probably not going to get much training on it.
And the woman i am working with on it doesn't really want me to work with her because i understand too many things too quickly and she is afraid that if she and i go into training together, i will learn more than her much faster and she will get confused and never learn any of it.
no really, that is exactly what she actually told me.
Anyway, haflie was really sick last night. i had given her a bath and washed all of her sheets and bed stuff and moved her into her new cage.
Then David and i cut her nails. In order to do this, David held her and fed her treats and i cut her nails.
Well, the poor thing had too much of her treat, and about an hour later she began throwing up everywhere. projectile, too.
And then she tried to burrow in her litter box which she had just pooped in.
So we took out all of her blankets and everything and i put a clean litter box with clean litter in it for her to burrow in and clean off her face with. And then i fixed a water bottle on it and proceeded to clean up after her for about an hour.
Then she just crawled into her litter box and fell asleep.
she is much better now, but i have to rewash all of her bedclothes.
and now, on that appetizing note:
today i ate:
- 2 eggs scrambled with olive oil, salt and pepper
- small Quizno's Tuscan Turkey sub, no lettuce or tomatoes
- asian hamburger helper with ground turkey, general tso's chicken, lemon wet cake
- drink for the day was water
