First, there is something weird with the microwave. it isn't as bad today as it was yesterday, but i think the plate is off wack, that and the actually rotation thingy...
Anyway, so yesterday in the afternoon while i was still by myself, i decided to take a nice bath to relax before school starts on wednesday.
and of course, instead of using the tub that i've been taking showers in for the past several months, i decided to take a bath in the nicer tub in the bedroom.
all would have been well, except that while we were cleaning up yesterday before trash day, i found alittle puddle of water on the dining room table. and i just couldn't figure out why someone would spill something on it and just leave it there like that. and how it could still be there because david and i haven't eaten there for a while because there was still stuff from new year's eve on it.
yes well, good thing too, because some of those cardboard hats did a good job soaking up the water that had leaked down from the frigging ceiling. i looked up and sure enough, you could see two spots where water had dripped down. one of my chair cushions got a little wet, but the cover soaked up most of the water and i made sure the actual cushion was dry so it won't stain.
it just missed my china cabinet and there was a little bit of water on the floor, but it came up pretty easily with a towel.
thank God mom gave me that plastic cover for my dining room table.
so uhh, i guess we won't be repairing the ceiling in the dining room until we've got everything sorted out with the bathroom in the bedroom. and we certainly won't be using that tub for a while until someone can get in there and see what the heck is wrong.
David says he's going to talk to his dad about it this week. He wants to put in a different tub in there anyway like the one his parent's have.
Water leaking from the ceiling was just one of those things that i could have done without.
okay, so. foodwise yesterday:
- chili with baked polenta and parmesan cheese
- popcorn *lots and lots of movie popcorn! that movie made me really hungry*
- chinese food -- steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, egg roll, general tso's chicken
- yesterday's drinks were water and milk
- i forgot to take my vitamin :(
